[After explaining how I felt about cultural differences in Korea vs. US, one of the parties gets up to leave.]

Me: Sometimes I wonder if I explained my sentiments in korean properly.

Friend: No, you explained it perfectly. They just think you have lost your mind, because it is so far left wing for them.

Me: Oh.

Friend: It is never your translation that gets lost, its your beliefs.

Me: Dude, that’s way worse.
