Hi to everyone in Korea,

Yes, I know I look 16-17. People assume me and my high school boy cousin are dating (uh….BLECH). I know I’m short, and I barely wear any makeup. Nor do I have my hair permed spaghetti straight or have that digital perm that is the rage.

I do realize I give off a foreign feel, but I understand Korean culture. Don’t worry.  That foreign feel happens when you grow up in an outside country for 23 years.

Sigh.

Sightings that I enjoyed on the subway this week:

  • a dapper grandpa with a 3 pc suit…who had a Lucius Malfoy type cane with a skull on the top.
  • a grandma who had a fully tattooed face. wearing hot pink.
  • 3 girls all passed out with their mouths open clutching their bags and their can of coffee in hand
  • a grandma who gave me her seat as she was leaving. 

What a week.
